DENVER, CO 11/17/2024. On November 17, 2024, at approximately 3:53 AM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported on the 1500 block of North Gilpin Street in the City Park West neighborhood of Denver. The location is about 0.3 miles southwest of the major intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Franklin Street. The incident involved a passenger car traveling south that collided with a parked vehicle, with the front-to-rear impact occurring on a non-intersection roadway under dark but lit conditions. The driver of the traveling vehicle was reported to be careless and there is a possible suspicion of Driving under the Influence, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident is one of several reported in the City Park West neighborhood within the past year.
