Late-Night Collision on W 46th Ave in Sunnyside Raises DUI Concerns

A traffic incident was reported at 1:02 AM on November 4, 2024, in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the 1300 block of W 46th Ave, approximately one mile west of the intersection with Federal Boulevard and Pecos Street. Involving two passenger vehicles, the incident followed a front-to-rear collision sequence in wet, dark-lit conditions. One vehicle, traveling east, was reportedly driving carelessly and collided with a parked car. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported; however, authorities have noted that driving under the influence might be a factor in this incident. This marks yet another in the tally of 184 reported incidents in the neighborhood since November 10, 2023.
