Motorcycle Accident at Pecos St and 42nd Ave Leaves One Seriously Injured

On October 10, 2024, at approximately 12:05 PM, a serious motorcycle accident was reported at the intersection of N Pecos St and W 42nd Ave in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. Located about a block north of the intersection of N Pecos St and W 38th Ave, the incident involved a northbound motorcycle and a southbound passenger vehicle making a left turn. The collision, identified as a front-to-side impact, resulted in one motorcyclist sustaining serious injuries. No fatalities were reported. Authorities attributed the motorcycle rider’s careless driving as a factor in the crash, while the driver of the passenger vehicle showed no apparent contributing factors.
