Motorcycle Accident Reported on I-25 Near Auraria Parkway in Denver

A traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a passenger car was reported on August 24, 2024, at 4:58 PM Mountain time on I-25 northbound near Auraria Parkway in Denver. According to the incident report, the motorcycle, which was traveling straight, fell from the vehicle after an over-correction or over-steering maneuver. This resulted in a side-to-side collision with a passenger car, which also was traveling straight and did not contribute to the incident. The accident occurred on a dark, lighted roadway in the Auraria neighborhood approximately 0.2 miles east of the major cross streets. Despite the severity of the events, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
