Serious Injury Reported in Early Morning Collision at Cherry Creek Intersection

DENVER, CO 4/20/2025. On April 20, 2025, at approximately 6:23 AM, a serious traffic collision was reported at the intersection of E 1st Ave and N University Blvd in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood. The accident involved two passenger vehicles, with one traveling eastbound and going straight while the other was southbound making a left turn. The impact, described as a front-to-side collision, resulted in one individual suffering serious injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. This incident marks the 250th traffic-related report in Cherry Creek over the past year.
