Motorcycle and Bicycle Accident Reported at Wadsworth and Amherst in Denver

DENVER, CO 8/23/2025. A collision involving a motorcycle and a bicycle was reported at the intersection of South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Amherst Avenue in Denver at 7:17 AM MT on August 23, 2025. The accident occurred on the roadway and was intersection-related, approximately 0.1 miles north of the closest major cross streets. The motorcycle, traveling north, was involved in a harmful event with the bicycle, while a passenger car headed east was making a left turn. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported in the incident. Careless driving and the failure to notice were contributing factors from the motorcycle driver, while the car driver showed no apparent contributing factors.
