Motorcycle and SUV Collision at 18th and California Reported in Denver

DENVER, CO 7/14/2025. A motorcycle accident involving an SUV was reported on July 14, 2025, at 8:05 AM near the intersection of 18th Street and California Street in Denver’s Central Business District. The incident occurred on the roadway at the intersection, approximately 0.1 miles northeast of the junction. According to initial reports, the SUV, traveling southeast, failed to stop at a signal, indicating driver inexperience as a contributing factor, and collided front-to-side with a motorcycle heading northwest. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident marks the 285th reported incident in the CBD neighborhood since July 14, 2024.
