Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Denver Collision near Congress Park

On September 30, 2024, at approximately 2:20 PM Mountain Time, a motorcycle accident was reported at 1440 N Columbine St in the Congress Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the roadway approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and York Street. The incident involved a southbound motorcycle which collided front to rear with a parked passenger vehicle. The motorcyclist, reportedly driving carelessly, sustained serious injuries. No fatalities were reported, and no contributing factors were observed for the parked vehicle. This marks another incident in an area that has already seen 250 reported accidents since November 2023.
