Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Rear-Side Collision on Pecos Street

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic incident on Pecos Street in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. The accident occurred at approximately 11:37 PM Mountain Time and involved a passenger car making a U-turn colliding with the motorcycle traveling south. The crash took place on the roadway about half a mile south of the major intersection at Pecos Street and West 41st Avenue. The incident was reported under dark but lighted conditions. The driver of the passenger car has been cited for careless driving while there were no apparent contributing factors from either party.
