DENVER, CO 6/24/2025. A traffic accident was reported in Denver on June 24, 2025, at 10:18 AM Mountain Time, involving two passenger vehicles traveling west on I-70 near the north of Havana Street. The incident occurred approximately 0.5 miles west of the I-70 and Havana Street intersection. The collision, which took place in the Central Park neighborhood, involved a careless lane change by one driver, resulting in a front-to-rear impact and a subsequent contact with a concrete highway barrier. One individual suffered serious injuries, while no fatalities were reported. The stretch of roadway is known as a non-intersection area, and this incident adds to the 1,094 traffic-related reports in the Central Park neighborhood since last year.
