DENVER, CO 6/17/2025. A traffic incident resulting in serious injury was reported on June 17, 2025, at 3:50 AM Mountain time in the 7200 block of N Jackson Gap St, approximately 1.2 miles east of its intersection with E 56th Ave, near Denver International Airport. The collision involved a northbound passenger vehicle and a southbound non-school bus. The passenger vehicle, which was negotiating a curve, collided front to side with the bus that was traveling straight. The driver of the passenger car was reportedly driving carelessly. One individual in the passenger vehicle sustained serious injuries. This incident adds to the 391 traffic incidents reported in the DIA neighborhood since June 2024.
