Pedestrian Incident Reported at E Asbury Ave and S High Race Aly in Denver

DENVER, CO 3/18/2025. On March 18, 2025, at 1:20 PM local time, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of E Asbury Ave and S High Race Aly in the University neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on a wet, unlighted roadway during dark conditions. A passenger car or passenger van traveling southeast made a left turn and failed to yield the right of way, resulting in a pedestrian being in the harmful event sequence. The pedestrian was crossing at the intersection at the time. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported.
