Pedestrian Injured by Pickup Truck in Cherry Creek Crosswalk

DENVER, CO 8/24/2025. On August 24, 2025, at 7:09 AM, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of East 1st Avenue and North Steele Street in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver. The incident, which happened about a block east from this major cross street, involved a pickup truck making a left turn and reportedly resulted in the pedestrian being struck in a mid-block crosswalk. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 291st reported traffic incident in the Cherry Creek area since August 26, 2024.
