Pedestrian Injured in Early Morning Broadway Traffic Incident

DENVER, CO 8/6/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred in Denver’s Speer neighborhood on the 500 block of North Broadway Street at approximately 5:00 AM on August 6, 2025. The incident took place about a quarter mile north of 6th Avenue where an SUV making a left turn southbound on Broadway failed to yield the right of way, as the driver was reportedly distracted. The pedestrian, who was traveling along the roadway with the traffic, sustained injuries but no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This event marks the 327th traffic incident in the Speer neighborhood over the past year.
