DENVER, CO 6/20/2025. On June 20, 2025, at approximately 4:07 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on the 700 block of S Dexter St in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway, approximately a half-mile southwest of the intersection of Mississippi Ave and Colorado Blvd. An SUV traveling north was improperly backing when the pedestrian, crossing or entering away from an intersection, was struck. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This marks the 270th incident in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood since June 22, 2024.
