Pedestrian Injured in Traffic Incident at E Evans Ave and S High St

DENVER, CO 2/24/2025. A pedestrian was injured in a traffic incident involving a passenger car early Monday, February 24, 2025, at approximately 1:17 AM in the University neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred at the intersection of E Evans Ave and S High St, where a vehicle traveling east reportedly struck the pedestrian. The driver was cited for careless driving and was found to have looked but did not see the pedestrian, while there was no contributing action from the pedestrian. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This adds to the 157 incidents reported in the neighborhood since February 28, 2024.
