DENVER, CO 5/22/2025. On May 22, 2025, at 12:49 PM, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at 6504 E Alameda Ave in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood of Denver. The incident took place approximately half a mile east of the major cross streets of South Monaco Parkway and East Alameda Avenue. A passenger car, traveling east and making a right turn, reportedly failed to yield the right of way, resulting in the pedestrian being struck while crossing at the intersection. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident is one of the 271 reported in the neighborhood since May 24, 2024.
