Pedestrian Involved in Early Morning Traffic Incident in Denver’s Central Park

On October 28, 2024, at approximately 6:27 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on Interstate 70 Highway Eastbound near the intersection with Interstate 225 Highway Southbound in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred approximately half a mile north of this major interchange. The pedestrian was reported to have darted or dashed onto the roadway and was not seriously injured. The vehicle involved was a medium to heavy truck traveling eastbound, and the driver was reported to have no contributing actions or factors in the incident. No fatalities occurred in this incident.
