Pedestrian Involved in Traffic Incident at 17th and Champa Streets

DENVER, CO 3/13/2025. A traffic incident was reported on March 13, 2025, at 6:46 AM at the intersection of 17th Street and Champa Street in Denver’s Central Business District. A pedestrian was involved when a transit bus traveling east failed to yield the right of way and struck the pedestrian on the roadway. The pedestrian disobeyed traffic signs, signals, or instructions at the intersection. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This incident adds to the 282 other reported incidents in the CBD neighborhood since March 14, 2024.
