Pedestrian Struck at Colfax and Speer Intersection, No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 3/20/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver at 4:16 AM on March 20, 2025. The incident, which took place at the intersection of W Colfax Ave and N Speer Blvd, involved a vehicle traveling westbound. The driver failed to yield the right of way while making a right turn, reportedly looking but not seeing the pedestrian, who was darting across the road. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 285 other reported traffic incidents in the Civic Center neighborhood over the past year.
