Pedestrian Struck at Intersection in Civic Center, 8th Incident This Year

DENVER, CO 8/19/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian and a pickup truck was reported in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver on August 19, 2025, at 10:05 AM. The incident took place at the intersection on the 1400 block of N Elati Street, approximately 0.1 miles west of the intersection with W Colfax Avenue. The pedestrian was crossing or entering at the intersection when the eastbound pickup truck, traveling straight, struck them. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 267th traffic-related incident in the Civic Center area since August 21, 2024.
