Pedestrian Struck by Carelessly Driven SUV in Montbello Parking Lot

DENVER, CO 6/27/2025. An incident involving a pedestrian and an SUV occurred in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver on June 27, 2025. The incident was reported at 9:08 AM Mountain time. The SUV, moving in a southward direction while backing, struck a pedestrian on private property, specifically in a parking lot located approximately half a mile east of the intersection of Chambers Road and East 51st Avenue. While the crash was attributed to careless driving by the vehicle operator, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This adds to the 487 traffic-related incidents recorded in Montbello over the past year.
