Pedestrian Struck by Pickup Truck at 20th St and Chestnut Pl

On August 9, 2024, at 8:56 PM Mountain time, a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of 20th Street and Chestnut Place, approximately half a mile west of Coors Field. The pedestrian was attempting to cross at the intersection when the incident occurred. Despite the serious nature of the event, no severe injuries or fatalities were reported. The area was well-lit at the time, and there were no apparent contributing factors from the driver of the pickup truck. This incident adds to the 239 reported traffic incidents in the Union Station neighborhood over the past year.
