Possible DUI Incident Reported Near Santa Fe Drive and Cedar Avenue

DENVER, CO 12/20/2024. On December 20, 2024, at approximately 12:19 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported near the intersection of S Santa Fe Drive and W Cedar Avenue in the Baker neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car that was traveling north and reportedly engaged in careless driving, colliding with a curb and a concrete highway barrier. The incident occurred on the roadway in a non-intersection area under dark but lighted conditions. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities are investigating the possibility that driving under the influence may have been a factor in the crash, which occurred just north of these major cross streets.
