Possible DUI Incident Reported on Montview Blvd in Denver’s East Colfax

DENVER, CO 12/22/2024. On December 22, 2024, at 5:03 PM, a traffic incident was reported in the 8000 block of North Montview Boulevard in Denver’s East Colfax neighborhood. The location is approximately 2 miles east of the major cross streets of Quebec Street and Montview Boulevard. The event involved two passenger vehicles, one traveling west and one parked, resulting in a side-to-side collision. Although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, the driver of the moving vehicle is suspected of careless driving, potentially under the influence. The incident occurred in a non-intersection area under dark but lit conditions, with the vehicle running off the road’s right side. The East Colfax area has seen 230 incidents in the past year.
