DENVER, CO 6/24/2025. On June 24, 2025, at 10:57 AM, a pedestrian was struck by an SUV in the 60 Block of West 12th Avenue, approximately 0.2 miles southeast of the intersection with Lincoln Street, in Denver’s Civic Center neighborhood. The incident occurred on the roadway near a driveway access when the driver of an SUV, traveling southeast, attempted a left turn. The pedestrian, who was on the roadway, was hit when the driver failed to yield the right of way due to momentarily not seeing the individual. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident marks the 271st traffic event in the Civic Center area in the past year.
