Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle at Intersection in North Capitol Hill

DENVER, CO 1/5/2026. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on January 5, 2026, at 3:50 AM at the intersection of E 17th Ave and N Washington St in Denver’s North Capitol Hill neighborhood. The incident occurred approximately 200 feet north of the major cross streets. A passenger car turning south was involved in the accident, and the pedestrian did not contribute to the cause of the incident. Although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, this marks one of the 267 incidents reported in North Capitol Hill since January 10, 2025.
