A pedestrian was struck by a passenger car at approximately 6:20 PM on August 23, 2024, at the intersection of S Tejon St and W Louisiana Ave in the Ruby Hill neighborhood. According to the incident report, the pedestrian was crossing or entering the street not at an intersection when the car, traveling south, struck them. The area was dark but lighted at the time. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
