Possible DUI at E 52nd Ave and N Fontana Ct Results in Collision

DENVER, CO 8/30/2025. A traffic incident was reported on August 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM Mountain Time at the intersection of E 52nd Ave and N Fontana Ct, located in the Montbello neighborhood, approximately 0.2 miles west of the major cross streets E 56th Ave and N Chambers Rd. The incident involved a passenger car traveling north and disregarding a stop sign before colliding with an SUV traveling east. The collision occurred at an unlighted intersection and involved a ‘front to side’ impact. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported, although authorities suspect the involvement of Driving under the Influence. This incident adds to the 480 traffic-related occurrences in the Montbello area since August 31, 2024.
