Possible DUI Incident at E 26th Ave and N York St in Whittier

DENVER, CO 1/7/2026. A possible DUI-related traffic incident was reported on January 7, 2026, at 1:04 AM in the Whittier neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred at the intersection of East 26th Avenue and North York Street. The incident involved two passenger vehicles, one traveling west and the other traveling north. It was described as a front-to-side and rear-to-rear collision happening ‘on roadway’ at this major crossing point. While aggressive driving was noted for the westbound vehicle, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 85th incident in the area since the beginning of last year.
