Possible DUI Incident at Speer Blvd and 11th Ave in Denver

DENVER, CO 3/22/2025. On March 22, 2025, at 6:57 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of North Speer Boulevard and West 11th Avenue in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car traveling south collided front-to-side with a westbound pickup truck, both vehicles reportedly going straight through the intersection. Despite the crash occurring under dark but well-lit conditions, no serious injuries or fatalities were recorded. Careless driving was noted as a factor, and police are investigating the possibility of Driving under the Influence. The incident adds to the 286 others reported in the area over the past year, situated less than a mile away from the major cross streets of Speer Blvd and 11th Ave.
