Possible DUI Incident in Whittier Involves Collision with Light Pole

DENVER, CO 2/14/2025. On February 14, 2025, at 5:16 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported in Denver’s Whittier neighborhood, at 1399 E 23rd Ave, approximately half a mile southwest of the intersection of E 23rd Ave and York St. A passenger car going east ran off the right side of the road, colliding with a light pole. The area is described as a non-intersection, dark-lighted road. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The incident was noted to possibly involve driving under the influence. This adds to the 71 other incidents reported in Whittier since February 26, 2024.
