Possible DUI Incident Involves Rollover on N Vasquez Blvd in Elyria Swansea

DENVER, CO 4/4/2025. On April 4, 2025, at 11:09 PM, a traffic incident potentially involving Driving under the Influence was reported southeast of N Vasquez Blvd and E 48th Ave in Denver’s Elyria Swansea neighborhood. A passenger car traveling south ran off the left side of the non-intersection road, striking a light pole and overturning, ultimately colliding with another pole. The road was wet and dark but lighted, and the driver was noted for careless driving, possibly as a result of being asleep or fatigued. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
