Possible DUI Incident on I-25 in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood Involves Lane Change and Barrier Collision

DENVER, CO 8/1/2025. A traffic incident was reported on August 1, 2025, at 11:49 PM in Denver’s Baker neighborhood, where a passenger car changing lanes collided side-to-side with another vehicle before hitting a concrete highway barrier. The incident occurred on northbound I-25, approximately 0.5 miles north of the S Santa Fe Dr cross street. The driver of the car was allegedly engaging in careless and aggressive driving, and it is suspected that driving under the influence may have been a factor. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 714th traffic incident in the Baker neighborhood since August 1, 2024.
