Possible DUI Incident on I-25 in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 9/18/2025. A traffic incident was reported on September 18, 2025, at 4:53 PM on I-25 Northbound near West Alameda Avenue in the Baker neighborhood of Denver. The incident, which occurred just north of a major intersection, involved an SUV and a passenger car traveling north. The SUV, reportedly following too closely, rear-ended the car in front of it. Despite the accident occurring in dark, unlit conditions, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities are investigating the possibility of Driving under the Influence as a contributing factor.
