Possible DUI Incident on I-25 Near Park Avenue West in Denver

DENVER, CO 8/28/2025. On August 28, 2025, at 10:09 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported on northbound I-25 near Park Avenue West, approximately 0.5 miles north of the intersection with Park Avenue, in the Highland neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car and a pickup truck, both traveling north, with the car rear-ending the slowing truck. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported, but the driver’s careless driving behavior raised suspicions of possible Driving under the Influence. This area has seen 304 incidents in the past year.
