Possible DUI Incident on I-70 Leaves No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 12/14/2024. On December 14, 2024, at approximately 10:32 PM MT, a single-vehicle traffic incident was reported on westbound I-70, about one mile south of its intersection with N Central Park Blvd in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. The SUV involved reportedly ran off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail face, in conditions described as dark but lighted. The driver was allegedly going straight and careless driving was noted, with possible contributing factors including being asleep or fatigued. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. The incident may involve driving under the influence, although this has not been confirmed. This marks one of 1,071 traffic incidents reported in the Central Park neighborhood over the past year.
