Possible DUI Incident Reported at Busy Denver Intersection

DENVER, CO 11/20/2025. On November 20, 2025, at 6:13 PM, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of North Speer Boulevard and West 8th Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved a passenger car that ran off a ‘T’ intersection, colliding with a curb and subsequently striking two traffic signal poles. The road was wet, and the accident occurred in dark, lighted conditions. Initial reports suggest the driver, who was heading south and driving carelessly, may have been under the influence. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This adds to a total of 637 incidents reported in Lincoln Park since last year.
