Possible DUI Incident Reported at Busy Denver Intersection

DENVER, CO 4/5/2025. On April 5, 2025, at approximately 8:00 PM, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of North York Street and East 6th Avenue in the Country Club neighborhood of Denver. The collision involved an SUV and a passenger car, both proceeding straight when the SUV allegedly failed to stop at a signal. The impact resulted in the SUV overturning after a front-to-side collision. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported; however, authorities are investigating the possibility of the incident involving driving under the influence. The intersection where this incident occurred, a busy location in the area, lies approximately 0.1 miles east of the North York Street and East 6th Avenue cross streets.
