DENVER, CO 1/5/2026. A possible driving under the influence (DUI) incident was reported at 8:42 PM Mountain Time on January 5, 2026, at the intersection of E 40th Ave and Airport Blvd in Denver. The collision occurred approximately half a mile east of the 40th Ave and Peoria St intersection. The incident involved two passenger vehicles, one traveling west and the other south. The vehicles collided front to side in dark, yet lighted conditions, with no serious injuries or fatalities reported. While one driver is suspected of careless driving, the other driver showed no apparent contributing factors.
