Possible DUI Incident in Denver’s Lowry Field: Car Strikes Tree

DENVER, CO 1/1/2026. On January 1, 2026, at 12:42 AM, a traffic incident was reported in Denver’s Lowry Field neighborhood involving a passenger car that ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree near the intersection of E Alameda Ave and E Fairmount Dr, approximately 0.5 miles northwest of its nearest major cross streets. The vehicle was headed westbound and reportedly involved careless driving. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities occurred, but the incident may be linked to driving under the influence. This marks the 139th traffic-related incident in the Lowry Field neighborhood since January 5, 2025.
