Possible DUI Incident Reported in Denver’s Overland Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 8/21/2025. On August 21, 2025, at 5:11 PM, a traffic incident was reported on S Broadway St, approximately 0.1 miles south of E Iowa Ave, in Denver’s Overland neighborhood. The collision involved a northbound passenger car that reportedly collided front to side with a parked SUV. The accident occurred on a roadway under dark but lighted conditions, and the driver of the passenger vehicle was allegedly performing careless driving. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities suspect that driving under the influence may have been a contributing factor. This incident adds to the 221 traffic incidents reported in the Overland neighborhood since August 22, 2024.
