DENVER, CO 8/2/2025. On August 2, 2025, at 8:14 AM Mountain Time, a traffic incident occurred on the 3800 block of N Pecos St, approximately 0.3 miles northeast of the intersection of N Federal Blvd and W 38th Ave in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved two passenger vehicles; one heading north and making a left turn, while the other was traveling south in a straight path. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported, although the driver of the northbound vehicle was noted for careless driving with a potential distraction within the vehicle. This incident has raised concerns about a possible involvement of Driving under the Influence. Since August 2, 2024, there have been 194 reported incidents in the Sunnyside neighborhood.
