Possible DUI Incident Reported on E Colfax Ave in Capitol Hill

DENVER, CO 12/5/2024. A possible DUI-related traffic incident was reported on December 5, 2024, at 3:29 PM on the 800 block of E Colfax Ave in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The collision occurred approximately half a mile east of the intersection with Lincoln Street and involved a front-to-rear collision between two westbound passenger vehicles. The incident took place in non-intersection conditions with dark but lighted surroundings. While no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, the driver in the rear vehicle has been cited for careless driving. This marks the 397th traffic-related report in the neighborhood over the past year.
