Possible DUI Incident Reported on E Girard Ave in Hampden

DENVER, CO 7/20/2025. On July 20, 2025, at 7:29 PM, a traffic incident possibly involving Driving under the Influence was reported in the Hampden neighborhood of Denver. The collision took place on the 10100 block of E Girard Ave, approximately 0.3 miles east of the intersection with S Havana St. The incident involved a head-on collision between two passenger vehicles traveling in opposite directions. One driver was noted for careless driving while distracted, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The area was dark and unlighted at the time of the collision.
