Possible DUI Incident Reported on I-70 Near Colorado Blvd in Denver

DENVER, CO 6/27/2025. On June 27, 2025, at 5:14 PM, a traffic incident was reported in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the westbound lanes of I-70 Highway, approximately 0.5 miles west of the major cross streets at N Colorado Blvd. Involving a passenger car, the vehicle was reportedly driving carelessly and struck a fixed object. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities are investigating whether driving under the influence may have been a contributing factor to the accident. This marks the 356th reported incident in the Elyria Swansea area since June 27, 2024.
