Possible DUI Incident Reported on W 2nd Ave in Valverde Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 12/13/2025. A potential driving under the influence incident occurred in the Valverde neighborhood of Denver early Saturday morning on December 13, 2025. The accident was reported at 1:35 AM on the 2900 block of W 2nd Ave, located approximately three blocks west of the intersection of W 2nd Ave and S Federal Blvd. Involved in the collision was an SUV, reportedly moving westward and striking a parked pickup truck/utility van in a front-to-rear collision. The SUV’s driver was cited for careless driving after reportedly looking but not seeing the parked vehicle, while the parked truck’s driver was not responsible for any contributing actions. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported from this incident, marking the 89th traffic-related report in the Valverde neighborhood since December 16, 2024.
