DENVER, CO 2/16/2025. On February 16, 2025, at 10:50 PM Mountain Time, a traffic incident was reported near the intersection of S Colorado Blvd and I-25 Highway Northbound in the Virginia Village neighborhood of Denver. The incident involved an SUV traveling south that ran off a ‘T’ intersection on a ramp, colliding with a curb and a concrete highway barrier. The SUV was reportedly being driven recklessly, possibly due to driver distraction or other interior factors. Authorities are investigating the possibility of driving under the influence as a contributing factor. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident contributes to a total of 178 traffic-related incidents in the Virginia Village area since February of last year.
