Possible DUI Involves Rear-End Collision in Denver’s Regis Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 10/19/2025. A traffic incident was reported on October 19, 2025, at 8:06 PM near 5509 W 48th Ave in Denver’s Regis neighborhood. The incident occurred approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection of W 48th Ave and N Sheridan Blvd. The event involved a front-to-rear collision on a non-intersection roadway in dark but lighted conditions. A westbound passenger car, possibly operated under the influence, collided with a parked passenger vehicle. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 42nd reported traffic incident in the Regis area since October 27, 2024.
