DENVER, CO 12/31/2025. On December 31, 2025, at 9:02 PM, a traffic incident involving two pickup trucks was reported in a parking lot at 951 16th St in Denver’s Central Business District. The incident occurred approximately 0.2 miles north of the intersection of 16th St and Champa St. The collision was described as a ‘Front to Rear’ sequence, under dark but well-lit conditions. The driver of the first vehicle was reported to be engaging in careless driving, potentially contributing to the incident through distraction. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities suspect that the incident may have involved driving under the influence, adding to a total of 302 incidents recorded in the CBD neighborhood since the previous year.
